Launaea - Waterfall Of Amida [OSL017]
Oslated is pleased to present its new release « Waterfall of Amida » composed by Launaea. The EP is made of 3 original tracks inspired by the eponymous artwork of Hokusai, plus an edit from the mysterious Blomkraft.
Launaea, from his real name William Salazar, plunges us directly into the arbor of waves and rapids. The track « Amida I » with its percussive rhythmic in constant growth makes us feel the slightest water molecule crashing into our body, before we fall off the edge and ourselves in the floating atmosphere of « Amida II ». The pace slowed down while we are in weightlessness carried by the high-pitched sounds that wander in the spectrum.
Known also for his clever and beautiful ambient atmosphere, William ends his journey with a track that lets us float gently in the lake down the waterfall where we feel appeased.
Michel Iseneld, founder of the amazing label Hypnus Records, hidden behind his poetical project « Blomkraft », succeeded in a beautiful way to adopt the idea of Hokusai in this engraving : representing a waterfall on all angles at the same time. We have in his edit a nice utilisation of each sound created by William, re-used, clipped, slowed down and polished, following his magical recipes, in a way to create a track that won’t let you indifferent.
